Student Advice
One piece of advice I would have for a new student at VIU is:
Organize your time in a way that allows you to balance your academic achievement with the ability to participate in as many things as you can that interest you from your very first year! In the end, it's the unexpected experiences that build the best memories and lasting friendships.
One piece of advice I would have for a new student at VIU is:
Enjoy university - it's one of the most important times of your life. Grades are important - but they will come naturally if you are doing what you love. Meet people, try new things, and take your time. Don't try to take too many courses at one time - it's better to take an extra semester or even year than it is to string yourself out and be miserable. This is the time of your life, smile!
