Mariners Athletics and Recreation engages and supports the student experience by fostering meaningful connections, wellness, and personal growth through exceptional sport, recreation, and lifestyle fitness activities. VIU students get a free membership to the Nanaimo Campus facility for use of the gym floor and weight room. During the fall and spring semesters a number of intramural and fitness activities are available for those looking to become more involved on campus. |

The VIU Financial Aid & Awards Office is committed to supporting students in their search for financial assistance, both in the form of loans, grants and awards, and in helping students to make the best use of these resources. Financial Aid & Awards staff assist and support students throughout their academic pursuits. The Financial Aid & Awards Office works closely with the VIU Faculties and the Student Services branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education to foster and support student access to financial assistance. |
