Getting to Know VIULearn (D2L)
If your online course is in VIULearn (D2L) we have a tutorial that will help you learn how to use the system.You can enroll yourself through "Open Learning". For more info visit this link. Once you’ve enrolled, this course will always appear in your course list and you can refer back to it at any time.

Can’t log in to your VIU Student Record or to VIULearn (D2L)?
Your student computer account may need to be reset. You can try resetting it yourself by following this link (https://isapp.viu.ca/acct_maint/stu_accounts/student_accounts.asp). If this doesn’t work, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 250-740-6300 for help resetting your student computer account. IT Help is open Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
Something isn't working in VIULearn (D2L), VIUTube, VIU WordPress, or VIU Online Rooms

Headphones and Microphone
If your course uses online classrooms you will have to listen to other people speaking, and you may end up speaking to the class. Consider buying headphones and a microphone, or headphones that have a built in microphone. This will help you hear what is happening in class and allow you to participate!
